It's the best film I've seen in a long while, But you really really have to concentrate to understand it all. There are so many twists and turns that duck in and out of reality that it sometimes feels more like a puzzle than a movie.
This is the reason it's only 4 stars; there's just a few twists too far. Apart from that the film is brilliant, fusing its dark twisted tones with action and uncertainty to great effect. I haven't seen many Danny Boyle films but now I'm defiantly intrigued to watch more.
