Review of Trance (2013) by Gary C — 05 Sep 2013

A movie that tries so hard to be smart but just can't overcome its inherent dumbness. You can waste your time trying to dissect the convoluted plot but in the end there isn't much story. Surprisingly, Dawson gives a bold performance (in more ways than one) and I could see her name come up during awards season.

Not much else here but the visuals are pretty neat. Another Boyle misfire - seems like it's every other one, just like the Star Trek movies!
