Stupid twists by way of hypnosis, the not so distant cousin of dreams, mental illness, and other supposedly brainy plot mechanisms that are anything but. As for casting charisma-free Rosario Dawson as a brilliant anything, someone should be fired.
A Danny Boyle hyper-color noir still sounds like a good idea, but not like this, and not with her,.
