Trance features plenty of style, but the substance leaves a bit to be desired. Featuring many at times thrilling twists, the film seems to fizzle out a bit from what was an intriguing first half. Still worth a watch for the visual effects, the score, and some solid performances, particularly a very good one from Rosario Dawson.
