By the end, Trance seems to become comprehensible, but the twists and turns it takes to get there, these 'hypnosis vs reality' scenes, get boring once you get to the climax of the film. However, Trance is beautifully directed and acted, even if some scenes are rather bad for the rest of the film, specifically the film's opening fourth-wall monologue.
