Review of Traitor (2008) by Rainer K — 17 Dec 2011
Another spy thriller about muslim terrorism like there are so many.
What sets Traitor apart though is the sublime selection of medium-well-known actors such as Don Cheadle, Guy Pearce, Neal McDonough, Said Taghmaoui and Jeff Daniels who all together make an intriguing cast.
I like Cheadle and most of his roles and I found him very good again.
The motifs and the background of his character is revealed very slowly and never unwraps to my satifsaction. I felt that I didn't get to know him as good as I should.
Solid filmmaking, decent thriller but I foresaw the final twist like in so many film of this genre miles ahead.
