Review of Traitor (2008) by Obed O — 19 Apr 2009
It's not too often Hollywood offers the perspective of the "terrorist" in America's ongoing war on terror. Cheadle's character Samir leaves the viewer in the uncomfortable position of having to understand and in some ways even sympathize with the protagonist.
I'm a big fan of Don Cheadle, but this movie left me wanting more, it didn't offer much thrill as your typical thriller. A script rewrite or maybe a different director would have taken this film in the direction it should have gone.
