Review of Traitor (1971) by Jason C — 18 Jul 2009
I would have seen Traitor in theaters if I had time. I didn't. The previews didn't interest me/do it justice.
Don Cheadle is a very good actor whom I don't think much of until I watch his movies. He has slight variance to most of his characters, but they all fit the movies he does perfectly. Guy Pearce is also a good actor who's been in a couple movies that I've absolutely loved (Momento, and First Snow).
The story is solid, and some of the twists are shocking. It's on par with a lot of the better spy/deep cover type movies I've seen in a while. How I let it slip to HBO, I'll never know.
