Review of Traitor (1971) by Tanti F — 13 Sep 2010
The older Don Cheadle gets, the better his acting gets, cause in the last couple of years he is just doing some of the best work of his career. Traitor is one of the examples of this. The character of Samir is very complex, with a huge range of emotions displayed throughout the movie, and Cheadle does this beautifully.
As for the story itself, Traitor is a nail biting tense ride that looks at hard questions about faith and identity, and in the end allows you to make up your own mind about what is right or wrong. It has a decent amount of action and a good pace, and I personally loved the bus scene at the end.
