Review of Trainwreck (2015) by Dann M — 27 Feb 2016
From director Judd Apatow comes the raunchy romantic comedy Trainwreck. The story follows a promiscuous tabloid journalist named Amy whose commitment issues keep her from getting involved in long-term relationships, but she begins to reconsider her ways after she starts to date a sports doctor that she's doing an article on.
Unfortunately, Amy Schumer plays the character in such a sarcastic and hostile way, as to make her incredibly unsympathetic. And the vulgarity doesn't help any. Trainwreck is exactly that, an ugly, humorless mess of film.
