Review of Trainwreck (2015) by Dustin G — 17 Feb 2016

I'll say what most people say about this movie, which is that it was better than I thought it would be. Apatow's last few films didn't really do it for me and I don't know much about Amy Schumer, so I skipped it initially.

After watching it though I was surprised at how much I laughed. I laughed my ass off in fact.

Not all of the jokes hit the mark, some died and burned right on the spot, but some were bonafide side splitters.

Yes, it's completely predictable and yes, it sort of devolves into your typical romcom trappings by the end, the way all of Sandler's romcoms do, but it's a fun ride overall. I'd watch it again.
