Review of Trainwreck (2015) by Sandy K — 13 Jun 2016
Somehow Schumer manages to make this self-absorbed character appealing (maybe because her boss, played by an unrecognizable Tilda Swinton, is such a horrible person!). Even with a "happy" ending it's a fairly cynical take on relationships and love.
Yet there are lots of laugh-out-loud moments, and my favorites were with basketball star LaBron James and his endearingly odd friendship with the sports doctor played by Bill Hader. Cracked me up!
