Review of Trainspotting (1996) by Noora K — 22 Jun 2011
Crazy characters with their crazy accents, doing dirty things. This realistic story was either melancholic or hilarious, or both, depending on how you looked at it. Photos and the minimalistic, surreal backgrounds mixed the realistic atmosphere with abstract symbolism, and the soundtracks were always on the right place at the right time! Surprising little bonus was that I actually liked Ewan McGregor in this.
