Strong Danny Boyle adaptation of the award-winning novel. Sometimes funny but consistently disturbing look at addiction in general, with very good work from Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle, and Kelly Macdonald as an underage club gal who could get 99 3/4% of the male population arrested.
