Review of Trainspotting (1996) by Maxwell S — 04 Aug 2012
Danny Boyle takes messy characters and puts them in messy situations, but the results is a crisp, VERY electric, and powerful masterpiece. Danny Boyle is high up on my top directors list (top 40), and this is where he puts everything he stands for into this film.
His most accomplished film and my favorite of his along with "Shallow Grave".
