A fairly mind blowing movie! Watching the main character and his "mates" battle with heroin addiction is simply mesmerizing! The worst toilet in Scotland, the soiled bed sheet, the baby, and the detox (with the baby) are just some of the harshest scenes I've watched! Ewan McGregor is awesome as Renton, and Ewen Bremner shines as Spud! And the soundtrack seems perfectly matched for what is on the screen! Wow!
