Review of Trainspotting (1996) by Marcus N — 17 Oct 2013
Electrifying.
This movie by Danny Boyle is a pure adrenaline shot of entertainment. He chose a great cast and let the wise-cracking script elevate his actors into pure enjoyment.
It's edgy,it's cool,it's a whole lot of drugs and life while dealing with the consequences. Danny Boyle respects us enough to combine dark comedy with intricate characters that mimic his style very well.
He keeps it entertaining,he keeps the audience involved thoroughly whether it be the "life told stories " "dark heroin scenes" or the struggle on ones addiction. It's quite brilliant.
It's one if the best drug movies you'll ever watch. Unique style,wise-cracking dialogue, very well written story and execution was a hit. Danny Boyle stamped his mark on a modern day addiction epic.
The choreography of scenery in Rudinbugh is involving and you get a taste of a different side of the world. The score of the film is taut and jumpy, energetic fits well with the scenes of the movie.
