I have never had a though in my head in my entire life about doing drugs. But if you ever plan on doing it, especially heroin, watch trainspotting. This movie explains the pure hash realities and things that drug addiction with brutal honesty, but its also really funny at the same time. That gets credit from the fantastic performances from the cast and the amazing script. Ewan McGregor does a fantastic job here, he seems completely lost in his character, it seems like he's actually doing what he's actually doing. Everyone else delivers hilarious and colorful performances. The script is incredibly realistic with pure wit that is nearly impossible not to laugh at. With everything, its at times brutally honest at what its story is trying to say, it shows what can happen to your friends, your family and your image and the effects that drug obsession can bring. Its a purely fantastic film, with outstanding performances and a honest script, its almost impossible not to find what makes trainspotting so good, I'll give trainspotting a 10.
