Review of Trainspotting (1996) by Ian C — 26 Jan 2017
It is still as entertaining as it was twenty years ago. The characters were adapted from the novel brilliantly with Carlyle's performance as Begbie being one of the most iconic in British cinema history.
Oodles of black humour and fantastic dialogue. Boyle's use of Iggy Pop, Blondie and Heaven 17 is executed wonderfully and it contributed to Underworld's Born Slippy being one of the anthem of the 90's.
A classic.
