Review of Trainspotting (1996) by Nik M — 14 Aug 2017
Psychedelic and suggestive, this provocative narrative on the youthful subculture of drugs and crime expresses a longing for an inert freedom. It's a masterful yet appropriately messy way of dealing with such commentary.
The performances are excellent and the dialogue has no shame.
