Review of Training Day (2010) by Magnus S — 13 Oct 2018

Training Day is one of the harshest and best police/crime films I've seen in a while. The cinematography is dry and gritty, which adds to the brutal, realistic and bad-ass tone that this flick has, without forgetting a captivating story of betrayal and distinguishing between right and wrong.

And while Ethan Hawke is undoubtedly very good, it's really Denzel Washington thats gives, which may possibly be, his most memorable and powerful, excellent performance, no wonder he won an Academy award for his act.

Overall, this is an entertaining, suspenseful and gripping movie, and one of the best crime flicks of the 2000s. Recommended!!
