Review of Training Day (2010) by Niloo R — 07 Sep 2014
Started out slow and it took a while to establish what was really going on, but by the end it was worth the wait. both ethan hawke and denzel washington gave stellar performances, and the film revealed something true, albeit a bit simplistic, about the nature of morality, and what it really means to be corrupt.
the film also had a nice way of tying seemingly trivial events from its early scenes to its climactic finish. made it a rewarding and entertaining watch, ultimately.
