Denzel Washington is intense as the cut throat cop Alonzo Harris. Denzel becomes the ultimate anti-hero in this dramatic film, Training Day. The movie is perfect as a action based flic, but as a serious morality film it lacks substance.
Sure our main character is put into certain situations that will make the audience think. But it's not enough to get real discussion about the topics. Beside the point, Training Day is suspensful and ferocious in this movie about the surviving on the streets.
