Denzel's much-deserved Oscar win shows why he is one of the top actors around today, as he fights alongside Ethan Hawke and then against him as a NARC officer that is about as twisted as they come.
Extremely graphic and violent in it's portrayal of The Shield-type police tactics, Training Day runs just a bit overlong, but overall a pretty good experience.
