Review of Training Day (2001) by Charlie G — 15 Oct 2014
Really cool cop thriller movie starring Ethan Hawke and Denzel Washington. The tone is dark and gritty and it really delivers. Denzel Washington is truly scary as a psycho narcotics police detective supervisor who is out of his mind.
This was a first watch for me and I liked it overall, but there are some stuff they do within the story that are a bit over the top. The movie was built up and hyped for me for years and overall it delivered which is why I'm giving it a strong four star rating.
