Training day tells the story of a rookie cop named jake hoyt who is on his first day in training but when hoyt finds out something about his partner name alonzo harris played by the great talented denzel washington (the might quinn the bone collector and fallen) while its the first day the films starts out with jake hoyt at his home with his wife and their baby daughter when he wakes up he sees his wife and their child both awake then he meets alonzo at a town cofee shop in the morning which alonzo gets mad at jake for talking too much and which then after alonzo gets mad he wants hoyt to tell a story they go out which hoyt is the new to the streets alonzo shows him around but when there is some action around before a 14 year old hispanic girl gets raped by perverted supposedly by major drug addicts then harris shows up and stabs and kills one of the members the girl is safe and runs away while that happens they later meet a man in a wheelchair who is another drug addict named blue played by rapper snoop dogg (bones (2001) soul plane the wash and snoop dogg's hood of horror) while chasing him down at a wig store they almost arrest him until they find out the real dealer was another area but it was wasnt the man in the wheelchair they go to the neighborhood and meet a woman and her nephew after they leave their house the woman tells alonzo that they are not actually real cops but then after that had happened hoyt meets alonzo's family his wife played a younger eva mendes (urban legends: final cut and exit wounds) but after that happens SPOILER ALERT: more things occur while an old friend of alonzo gets shot by alonzo and his gang but when we all think that is alonzo a good cop or a bad cop then after that they found a underground load of a few billion dollars after that while everyone in the neighborhood now all things alonzo is not a real cop then the ending alonzo gets shot multiple times while in his car by the police.

Film rating:R for violence brief nudity brief drug content/drug use and strong language throughout.

Directed by antione fuqua (the replacement killers and shooter).

Highly recommended.

When the film had first opened in americca of october 5th 2001-october 7th 2001 weekend the film had opened at #1 for 2 weeks beating max keeble's big move which opened at #6 joy ride which opened #5 all two of those came out the first week then when the film topped the charts the next week it beat the bruce willis comedy film bandits which got #2 and the chris kattan comedy corky romano which got #3.

A great action good bad cop film.
