Review of Train to Busan (2016) by Sunken — 11 Feb 2018
I watched this tonight and was a little disappointed considering the rave reviews. This movie doesn't really introduce anything new to the genre, and is riddled with plot holes and forced drama. If the zombies are harmless in the dark, all anyone had to do was wait until night and then go wherever they needed to go.
It's an okay movie but pales compared to 28 days later or similar modern zombie movies. It's a good intro to zombies for the Korean film industry, but it lacks gravity to add anything for international viewers.
