Review of Train to Busan (2016) by Jake A — 02 Jul 2017

This zombie apocalypse film has plenty going for it and I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it despite a couple of lacking CGI parts and the acting not being entirely convincing. It does however have a solid plot, some great action, plenty of tense scenes, a good score that enlivens plenty of the action and it also has its emotional moments.

I especially like the fact it feels like a mix between a classic disaster film from the seventies and a modern zombie thriller, whether that was intentional or not it came across quite a lot throughout its runtime.
