Review of Train to Busan (2016) by Art T — 08 Sep 2016
Resident Evil, Warm Bodies, 28 Days&Weeks Later, and World War Z are OUT.
TRAIN TO BUSAN is definitely IN!
TRAIN TO BUSAN is by far the best movie of 2016. Perfect visual effects is not needed but just enough seasoning to have an ultimate dish for the moviegoers is vital. I happened to unconsciously forget the sense of how the infected ones became a zombie because of the contagious thrill this movie injected to me. It was perfectly started and beautifully ended. I really love the pacing of each scene and the build up of the characters. Plus, the zombies were not O.A. The protagonist and antagonist were colorful. If Philippines has FENG SHUI, Japan has THE GRUDGE & THE RING, Thailand has SHUTTER, Korea gave birth to this unforgettable movie. Yesterday, I got THE NIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD as my best zombie movie but now there were two on my movie bucket. I can't recover from this masterpiece! KUDOS!
