Packing in all the visceral scares and thrills of a solid zombie picture but at the same time still telling a well written, well acted and heartbreaking story about the people stuck in the middle of it all.
All of which fully fleshed out and you as a viewer actually care if they make it to the end or not. All calumniating in a genre picture that most of it's kind should aspire to be.
