Review of Trailer Park Boys: The Movie (2006) by Cory K — 27 May 2012
The second TPB boys film suffers from the same problem as the first. It gets bogged down in its own ambition. The joy of the series is the low budget, make do way it is made. When you start throwing in big money set pieces, the charm is lost.
The length is also a problem. The comedy of the series is perfect for half an hour. The jokes play well in that time frame. When you try to drag them out to feature length, they just become tired.
