Review of Trailer Park Boys: Don't Legalize It (2014) by Ian B — 19 Apr 2014
Five years after the last Trailer Park Boys effort, the somewhat disappointing Countdown to Liquor Day, I was a little worried another movie might be one too many. Turns out the third time's a charm as this actually turned out to be their best flick.
Taking a break from the boys has made them all the funnier, and they've come up with some of their strongest material since the early seasons of the show. Ricky, Julian and Bubbles are each given a decent storyline and the hilarious supporting characters have much more screen time (J-Roc steals the movie).
Don't Legalize It works because they found a good balance between the old and the new. There's plenty of drunk Lahey and all the stuff fans want and expect, but also moves the story forward for the upcoming new seasons of the show.
But most importantly...it's fu#%!ng hilarious!
