Corny ranchers vs. farmers western. Randolph Scott lays Bat Masterson, who's the new sheriff of Liberal, Kansas. Anne Jeffreys plays the love interest, Robert Ryan an uncharacteristic nice guy and George "Gabby'' Hayes plays, what else, a cantankerous old man.
