Review of Trading Places (1983) by Danny C — 22 Sep 2010
Released in '83 and still hilarious today. Trading Places is a real smart comedy about a rich stock broker trading lives with a homeless hustler from the streets. This is before Murphy hit it huge and it was prime time Dan Akroyd so it has their best performances in it.
This is also a time when Eddie Murphy was genuinely funny so you know this is a good one. Trading Places was great in every way and is still one of my favorites, almost three decades after its release.
