Review of Trading Places (1983) by Sebastian O — 01 Nov 2013
There are funny moments, but too infrequently to call this film "entertaining". I especially believe the time Murphy broke the fourth wall was definitely one of his finer gags in his career. However, it was far too slow for the comedy it should have been, and Ackroyd sloppily acted his drunk character while Murphy shone right past him.
