Review of Tracker (2010) by Naseer B — 29 Jun 2011

Surprised this movie hasn't had more attention given how good it really is, Winstone is a bit of a revelation as the lead and his chemistry with Morrison really gives the story an added bite when the plot begins to lull.

The cinematography is outstanding as you'd expect and could easily double as an advert for the New Zealand tourist board. The film perhaps didn't make enough of the bitterness and prejudice that threaded all the characters together but it's a solid adventure drama with some sombre overtones and a number of very memorable scenes.
