This film lacks everything needed for a comedy. Never mind the title - it isn't playful, it isn't joyful. The workers at Zevo Toys may be happy but they're the only ones. And the set design isn't this film's saving grace as some would-be fans say.
It's little wonder this bombed at the box office: even kids didn't wanna see it! If you have a least favorite movie critic, give them some credit if they hated Toys (at least they have some taste)!
