This is Pixar's first ever Halloween special, so I will give it credit for that, but it isn't anything like you'd expect Pixar to produce, and much like Toy Story 3, aims at teaching kids so-called "valuable lessons", which they'll forget anyway.
To sum TSOT up, it is enjoyable the first couple of times, especially around Halloween time, but isn't exactly material anyone besides Pixar fanatics will go crazy for.
