Review of Toy Story 4 (2019) by Duckhost — 21 Jun 2019

Thinking back, there is not a franchise so consistent as this one and this movie just keeps the trend going and it's going strong. In terms of animation, I haven't seen a movie this beautiful and the hardware that must be required to render this movie must be immeasurable.

This movie is just fantastic but when Pixar announced that they were making another Toy Story I was worried because 3 was a clear ending for the series but the story they tell on 4 really has a heart behind it.

Woody shines in this movie and this movie is about him and my only complaint is that Buzz doesn't do much in this movie and some of the classic characters don't show up in the movie as much as you think.

Forkie is a great addition to this movie and even the villain Gaby Gaby is not a cliche and blank state like I thought it was going to be, she inst a Lotso with an anarchy view on society but her motives are really genuine and you may even root for her at the end of the movie as I did.

The end is really emotional especially if you have been with these movies from the beginning like I am. Toy Story 4 is a great movie and sometimes even a spectacular one and I fell in love with just like the ones before.
