Has the third movie in a series ever surpassed the previous two before? It's quite an accomplishment, especially when the previous movies are top notch as well. This one balances entertainment aimed at children with entertainment aimed at adults .
.. and the entertainment aimed at adults isn't just a bunch of references to other entertainment. There's some pretty heady dramatic material handled with subtlety.
