WIth nine classics (and one misstep) under their belts, Pixar had a lot to live up to with the third installment to their token series. Toy Story 3 managed to beat the odds and became one of few second sequels to maintain the quality of its predecessors.
It tells an unforgettably poignant and scarily dark tale that is much too easy to love, and is an incredible conclusion to a series that never hit a sour note. The concept of a fourth installment seems unnecessary and risky, but there is always hope when it comes to these timeless characters.
