This movie is my favorite in the trilogy and my favorite Pixar film to date. I would even go as far as saying that it is among my favorite all-time films. I think it has moments of good humor but ultimately this is a dark movie that at times can be very emotionally intense.
It works as a thriller in places and ultimately is a really enjoyable adventure. I really wish it was the final chapter in the series but as we all know, there is more being planned out for this universe.
As an ending to Andy's story, it works on essentially every level. There's a real heart at the core of this one and it tugs the heartstrings and leaves you in tears by the end of it. It's one of the greats that will leave you shaken is truly heartfelt and unforgettable.
