The newest addition to the Toy Story franchise takes advantage of its long hiatus to meet the children it originally appeared to in the late 90's where they're at now that they're no longer kids.
It notably does this by taking time in its narrative to tackle the late Millennial's and their parents' struggles to emotionally accept their natural progression into adulthood. For that matter, It is one of the most self-aware and genuinely emotional animated films released that will surely not leave a dry-eye to anyone with a beating heart in their chest.
