Review of Toy Story 2 (1999) by Robert M — 06 Feb 2015
The ideas just keep getting better. The entire gang of misfit toys all on a big and misfited adventure. A great sequel that is just as good as the first, if not better. This was my favorite out of the series as a child.
I used to (and still do) love the street-crossing scene and the hunt for Al's case at the airport scene. Woody and Buzz are still just as bright and intelligent as the first, with Buzz taking most of the stand with the intelligence.
The new characters are of course instant memorable ones, and Andy still has his joyful and love-for-toys spirit. Pixar simply does it again with a very impressive storyline and creativity for a sequel (and also for their third full-length movie ever made).
