Review of Toy Story 2 (1999) by Varun C — 03 Aug 2014
Bold voice acting, a unique, fast -paced story, plenty of laughs and a range of characters with depth makes Toy Story 2 waaay better than the firstand - yup, you said it - a smartly written action thriller for all ages with a moral of friendship and loyalty. It's surprising to think that an animated feature could leave you at the edge of your seat, but indeed this one did.
For 90 minutes, it has more of its...moments than others. It's hard to pick one, but I would go for the Star Wars reference.
"You killed my father!".
"No, Buzz, I am your father".
"nooooooooooo".
