Review of Toy Story (1995) by Cooper C — 25 Aug 2015
The writing is pretty solid stuff and the film score is great(not much can be said about Randy Newman's singing). However, the humans look like garbage, the animations on the toys' faces can be dull, and a lot of the environments can look pretty ugly.
It appears 20 years has started to age this film pretty badly... Oh what the hell, I can't hate this movie, it's fucking TOY STORY. It's been part of my life since I was born and I still love it. Is it flawed? Oh, hell yeah it is, but I still love it to death. It is probably the first ever movie I will literally love until my death. No wonder I still give it a perfect 5/5, nostalgia is not letting this film die on me.
