Review of Toy Story (1995) by Winwhale — 17 Dec 2011
Great film, all time classic. Every time I see it nowadays I get a truckload of nostalgia. It's got Something for everybody, simple jokes for the young'ns and slightly more sophisticated jokes the 10-13's and up e.g: "Hey look! I'm Picasso!".
"Ehh I don't get it".
"You uncultured swine!".
" What 're you lookin' at ya hockey puck!?".
Although I continue to have nightmares about the scene in which woody has a nightmare where Andy drops woody into the bin saying in a sinister, creepy manor "Goodbyyyee" I'm able to get over it and still say: John Lasseter, You genius.
