Before this movie came out,CGI was just beginning to wear out its welcome. However, the amazing belief that the very first All-CGI film, would be a kids flick. And of course, some thought the movie would suck.
But the film was not changed by Pixar, Pixar was changed by this film. Now every animated movie wants to be like Toy Story, and, amazingly not,This is my favorite Pixar/ Disney film,and one of my favorite films of all time.
What stands out about this film is the writing, which gives us such memorable characters. And what else is so good is that there is no bad guy in this film. It is just competitive comedy, which is very funny in this movie.
Yeah, some of the CGI doesn't hold up as well, but it gets a pass as the first CGI film. Everything in this movie just works,and is a must see for kids, and for adults as a animated classic!
