Review of Tower Heist (2011) by Antti Q — 20 May 2012
I heard good things about this movie, I heard that Eddie Murphy is funny again in it, and I heard that Ben Stiller is funny at last in it. I was excited to finally watch it. And after watching it I have to say I feel a bit let down.
It's not bad not bad at all really, it's just not what I'd hoped for. Everybody delivers I suppose and at times it is funny but it's too mish mash for me it can't decide if it's a comedy or a crime caper.
It tries hard to be both but fails and it would have been a better film for it if it decided to lean more to the comedy side. But still an enjoyable film and worth a watch.
