Review of Tower Heist (2011) by James C — 24 Oct 2012
It seems that this movie goes the first thirty minutes without even trying to be funny. From that point the laughs pick up a little bit, particularly from a surprisingly funny Eddie Murphy. Of course, this movie might consider itself less of a comedy, and more of a light hearted heist movie a la "Ocean's Eleven.
" Judging it as a heist movie, there were a few twists, but the heist turns a little silly and down right stupid at times. Overall, the movie fell a little short, whatever it was trying to be.
